We wanted to visit the Taj Mahal under the full moonlight, so we looked for stays within walking distance. Hence we came across these beautiful homestays.

The quaint and beautiful boutique homestay near the Taj Mahal's east gate is called The Coral Court. This homestay offers an exclusive, green, quiet, and traditional ambiance with all the comforts. Recognized in the Traveler's Choice 2020 list, it's a perfect blend of comfort and charm. We stayed here for 2 nights and were beautifully hosted by the hosts with a very homelike breakfast every morning.

For a luxurious stay with a view of the Taj Mahal, we recommend the Taj View Hotel, a 5-star rated establishment located just 15 minutes from the Taj. The hotel offers decent rooms with stunning views of the Taj Mahal, a roof deck with a Taj view, and a beautiful pool set amidst a lush green lawn. While the food was average, the overall experience was remarkable.
